Design, Fabrication, and Installation of Alaska Long Trail Gateway Sign at Matanuska River Park

The Matanuska-Susitna Borough is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to design, fabricate, construct, and install an Alaska Long Trail Gateway installation at Matanuska River Park & Campground in Palmer, Alaska. Scope includes site preparation, structural foundations appropriate for local climatic conditions, UV-resistant color-fast finishes, visitor orientation mapping, interpretive components, and Long Trail branding elements. Eligibility is restricted to onshore USA organizations. Questions must be submitted by 5:00 PM on November 2, 2026. Final proposals are due by 12:00 PM on November 9, 2026, through the Euna Procurement MSB Procurement Portal. Applicants must submit separate Adobe PDF documents for the Technical Proposal, limited to five single-sided pages, and the Fee Proposal. Evaluations allocate up to 60 points for the technical proposal—covering project understanding and approach, experience, and management—and 40 points for the fee proposal. The Borough desires a fixed-price contract, though a time and materials not-to-exceed contract may be negotiated.
