Public Art Commission for OKC Will Rogers International Airport Parking Garage

The Oklahoma City Airport Trust issues a Request for Qualifications to select artists for two public art commissions at the OKC Will Rogers International Airport Parking Garage. The selected artists will design, fabricate, and install site-specific permanent works of art along with art identification markers. Scope includes engineering, permitting, installation oversight, travel, and related incidental expenses. Practicing artists or artist teams who are at least 18 years old and onshore USA organizations are eligible to apply. Submissions must be made digitally by email or online by 4:00 PM CT on November 12, 2026. Required submission materials include a completed fillable form and up to eight .jpg images of representative works. Finalists must attend a mandatory in-person site visit on January 6, 2027, at 2:00 PM and present conceptual design reports. The evaluation process considers availability, work price and market value, communication and problem-solving skills, artwork safety, durability, and maintenance. The total budget comprises two art awards of $325,000 each, totaling $650,000.
