Water Main Surveying, Drafting, Design, and Construction Engineering Services

The Lansing Board of Water & Light requests proposals from onshore USA organizations for surveying, drafting, base mapping, geotechnical, permitting, and design services to replace water mains across multiple locations. The selected consultant will also deliver construction engineering services, including staff for supervision, traffic control, and storm water inspection through project completion. Proposals must include a statement of qualifications detailing water main design projects completed in the past 5 years, associated costs, and staff experience. The buyer evaluates bids based on project cost (40%), design experience (17%), and main/infrastructure experience. Questions are due by November 13, 2026. Design tasks for Location 1 must be finished by February 9, 2027, and construction engineering tasks must conclude by May 21, 2028.
