City of Montgomery Request for Qualifications for Professional Service Providers and Specialty Consultants

The City of Montgomery, Alabama requests qualifications from licensed design professionals and specialty consultants to establish a Master List of qualified service providers. Selected firms will perform offsite planning, design, facility improvements, construction administration, and engineering services on an as-needed, task order basis over a two-year period. Scope areas include roadway design, stormwater studies, traffic design, environmental permitting, and utility coordination. Eligible applicants must be onshore USA organizations licensed to conduct business and perform professional engineering in Alabama, and they must carry at least $1,000,000 in General Liability Insurance. Applicants must submit one electronic PDF proposal via email or online to Indya Wright at [email protected]. All questions must be submitted in writing by November 18, 2026. City staff will evaluate proposals based on relevant criteria, including experience with Alabama municipal clients, Alabama public works bid law, current building codes, and federally funded grant programs.
