Chicago Public Schools Marquee Sign Replacement at Urban Prep Englewood High School

Chicago Public Schools is issuing an invitation to bid for marquee sign replacement services at Urban Prep Englewood High School. The general contractor must completely remove and dispose of the existing marquee sign and underground foundation, then furnish and install a new double-faced digital LED sign with dedicated 208V single-phase power and underground conduit. Bidders must also submit proposed sign foundation designs, a liquid materials handling plan, settlement monitoring reports, and pricing for a cellular wireless broadband communication system. Eligibility is limited to USA onshore organizations within the pre-qualified Various Trades contractor pool. A mandatory walkthrough is scheduled for November 4, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM Chicago Time at the school lobby, and all questions must be submitted by October 26, 2026. Bids must be submitted online through EUNA/Bonfire by November 10, 2026, at 2:00 PM Chicago Time, including a completed Bid Cover Sheet. Bids of $25,000 or more require union sign-off and a 5% Bid Bond, bids of $50,000 or more require Payment and Performance Bond premium costs, and bids of $75,000 or more require completed MBE/WBE forms.
