Residential Solid Waste Curb Side Collection and Disposal Service

The City of Tega Cay, South Carolina is seeking a vendor to provide residential solid waste curbside collection and disposal services. The selected provider must collect municipal solid waste from approximately five thousand, one hundred residential units once per week on a scheduled basis. The scope of work also includes managing an opt-in, single-stream curbside recycling program for residents, as well as providing and collecting municipal solid waste and recycling for City Facilities. The agency requires the contractor to collect, transport, dispose of, or otherwise handle construction debris, dead animals, hazardous waste, medical waste, special waste, industrial wastes, yard waste, bulky items, toxic substances, trees, earth, body wastes, abandoned vehicles, vehicle parts, and large equipment. The contract period will span five years, and all performance of the work must take place onsite. Eligibility is restricted to onshore, United States organizations only. The agency is looking for proposals to determine the budget for this five-year contract. Bidders must attend a mandatory pre-bid meeting scheduled for May 4, 2026. All questions regarding this opportunity must be submitted to the agency no later than June 12, 2026.
