Solid Waste and Recycling Collection Services

The City of West Jordan, Utah is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive residential solid waste collection, recycling, and related disposal services. The agency needs to solve the ongoing logistical challenge of managing municipal waste by securing weekly residential solid waste collection and residential recycling collection. The project covers waste management at city facilities and parks, seasonal waste collection, special event waste services, and glass recycling drop-off services. The scope of work also requires the vendor to manage e-waste and shredding events, community dumpster day events, a residential dumpster rental program, and special needs walk-up assistance. The selected provider must track and report all collected materials to the agency. To be eligible for this contract, bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States, and all performance of the work must occur onsite in West Jordan. The agency is looking for proposals to determine the budget for these services. The agency will hold a pre-bid meeting on June 9, 2026, to discuss the project requirements.
