Precious Metals Recycling Services

The Oakland, California government authority is seeking a vendor to provide precious metals recycling services. The agency needs to recycle a variety of materials including aluminum old sheet iron, all types and sizes of batteries, ballasts, insulated wire and cables, clean aluminum, and mixed aluminum. The scope of work also covers clean stainless steel, mixed stainless steel, clean copper wire with no insulation, and cast iron. Performance of all recycling work must occur offsite. Bidders must be located onshore within the United States to be eligible for this opportunity. The agency is requesting proposals to determine the budget and will establish a contract period of one year. Bidders must submit any questions regarding this opportunity no later than May 28, 2026. The agency allows digital submission of responses via email or online. The authority will evaluate proposals based on the submitted bids to select the provider for these recycling services.
