Management, Removal, Transportation, and Disposal of Hazardous Waste and Materials and Emergency Response Services

The Massachusetts-based government authority in Boston is seeking a contractor to manage, remove, transport, and dispose of hazardous waste and materials, as well as provide emergency response services. The agency requires these services to address petroleum or antifreeze spills, both virgin and waste, that may occur on public or non-public ways, streets, manholes, storm drains, catch basins, navigable waterways, interior floor drains, trenches, rivers, inlets, or other surfaces. Additionally, the agency needs to resolve the accumulation of waste oil products, antifreeze, or petroleum products that require removal from tanks, totes, drums, maintenance pits, or drainage systems. The scope of work covers the provision of all labor, equipment, materials, utilities, transportation, sampling, laboratory analysis, supervision, and related services necessary to complete both emergency and scheduled actions. The selected contractor must perform all tasks in a timely, efficient, and effective manner, and assist the authority in any subsequent enforcement or cost recovery actions. All performance of the work will take place offsite. Only onshore United States organizations are eligible to bid on this opportunity. The agency is looking for proposals and has not disclosed a specific budget. The contract period will span four years. The agency will host a pre-bid meeting on June 2, 2026.
