Roadway Recycling Service

The City of Austin, Texas, requires roadway recycling services for asphaltic-concrete-pavement roads. The agency is seeking a contractor to perform subgrade preparation, including the provision of all necessary materials. The project covers the removal of the existing pavement structure to a depth of eight inches, along with the disposal of all excavated materials. The scope of work demands that the contractor manage traffic control and include all incidental costs in their proposal. These incidental costs cover general conditions, bond costs, insurance, administrative expenses, permit fees, mobilization, and the maintenance and protection of traffic. Additionally, the contractor must provide traffic signage, drums, barrels, cones, saw-cutting, protection of drainage structures from sediment migration, and temporary erosion control installation as directed by the engineer. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency requires all performance of the work to take place onsite.
