Household Hazardous Waste Disposal Services

The Roanoke Valley Resource Authority in Roanoke, Virginia is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive household hazardous waste disposal services. The authority requires a partner to manage the entire lifecycle of waste management, including screening, collection, handling, packaging, transportation, and final disposal. The selected vendor must act as the generator of record for all collected wastes and assume full responsibility for regulatory compliance from the moment of collection through final disposal. The scope of work covers preparation, mobilization, emergency planning, and the physical collection of materials. The vendor must perform waste identification, maintain detailed record-keeping, and handle the packaging and temporary storage of all materials. Additionally, the project requires the safe transportation and disposal of the waste, while the authority provides specified support services. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The performance of all contracted work will take place offsite. The authority has not disclosed a set budget and is looking for proposals to determine the cost of these services.
