Curb Side Collection, Disposal Residential Waste and Recycling Service

The City of Herculaneum, Missouri, is seeking a contractor to provide consistent, reliable, and high-quality curb side collection, hauling, processing, and disposal of residential solid waste, recyclables, yard waste, and bulk items. The city will continue to handle billing for these services through its utility billing system, and the selected contractor must structure pricing to align with this arrangement. The scope of work covers weekly collection of residential trash and biweekly collection of recyclables as part of the base service. The agency is also requesting pricing for an additive alternate to increase the recycling collection frequency to a weekly schedule. Bulk item collection is required for large household items such as furniture and mattresses that do not fit in standard trash carts, excluding construction debris, hazardous materials, automotive parts, and other legally prohibited materials. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The selected contractor must perform all work onsite within the city limits of Herculaneum, Missouri. The agency is looking for proposals to establish the budget and will award a contract with a performance period of five years.
