Refuse Collection Services

The Maui County government authority is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive refuse collection and recycling services for its campus. The agency requires the safe collection, transportation, and disposal of non-hazardous solid waste and recyclable materials. To accommodate changing operational needs, the agency retains the right to increase or decrease the number of containers, container sizes, and the pickup schedule throughout the contract term. The selected provider must furnish all collection vehicles, materials, labor, collection containers, and trailers necessary to execute the services. The scope of work also covers ongoing maintenance and repair of equipment, pressure washing, deodorizing, and the removal and disposal of all waste. Additionally, the agency requires monthly billing and detailed reporting on the tonnage amounts of all solid waste and recycling removed from the campus. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. All work must be performed onsite at the agency's campus in Maui, Hawaii. The agency has not disclosed a specific budget and is looking for proposals to determine the cost of the services.
