Stream Debris Removal Services

The Duplin County government authority in North Carolina is seeking a vendor to provide stream debris removal services. The agency needs to clear obstructions from the flow areas of its natural or excavated channels to ensure the free flow of water. This project addresses the accumulation of blockages that restrict water flow and threaten local waterways. The scope of work requires the removal and disposition of trees, logs, stumps, snags, shrubs, brush, aquatic weeds, and other obstructions. Workers must cut all trees, stumps, and brush within the channel perimeter as close to the ground as conventional cutting tools permit. The selected contractor must also remove down trees, logs, drifts, boulders, and debris lying wholly or partially within the channel, as well as designated pilings, piers, headwalls, and sediment bars. Eligible bidders must perform all work onsite and must be located onshore within the United States. The agency accepts digital bid submissions via email or online portal.
