Solid Waste and Recycling Services

The Bergen County Utilities Authority in New Jersey is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive solid waste and recycling services. The agency requires the collection, removal, and disposal of solid waste and bulky waste from within its territorial and geographical boundaries. Additionally, the selected provider must manage the collection and disposal of mandated recyclable materials, including newspapers, magazines, junk mail, and cardboard, as well as provide necessary solid waste receptacles. The agency is limiting eligibility to onshore organizations based in the United States. The performance of all contracted work will take place offsite. Bidders can submit their proposals digitally via email or through the agency's online portal, and the agency is currently looking for proposal pricing to establish the budget. The contract period will span five years. The agency has scheduled the deadline for all questions for July 8, 2026. A pre-bid meeting will take place on July 17, 2026, to address inquiries and provide further clarification on the requirements.
