Yard Waste Grinding and Removal Services

The Town of Enfield, Connecticut is seeking a vendor to provide yard waste grinding and removal services. The town collects yard waste on Fridays separately from other refuse, resulting in approximately 25 to 35 collections. Collected yard waste consists of residential leaves, grass clippings, other vegetative wastes, and bundled tree and shrub trimmings that are under four feet in length and under 50 pounds. The project covers processing and removing an estimated annual volume of 15,000 to 30,000 cubic yards of yard waste based on historical data. The selected contractor must perform all work onsite and provide a front-end loader with an operator to relocate the processed material and move additional yard waste into the active working area.
