Hazardous Materials Inspection, Testing and Abatement Services

The City Utilities of Springfield, Missouri, is seeking a contractor to provide hazardous materials inspection, testing, and abatement services on an as-needed basis. The agency needs to identify and safely remove hazardous substances from its facilities to ensure regulatory compliance and public safety. The scope of work covers the inspection, testing, and abatement of ceiling texture material, linoleum flooring sheeting, plaster wall material, sheetrock material, roofing materials, insulation or pipe wrap, and drop ceiling tile. The agency requires strict adherence to disposal regulations, prohibiting the disposal of asbestos-containing materials at agency properties or as clean fill. The contractor must dispose of mold in strict accordance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations. All performance of the work will take place offsite.
