Trash Collection, Hauling and Disposal Services

The California Department of Transportation is seeking scheduled and on-call trash collection, hauling, and disposal services for its authority located in Sacramento, California. The agency requires a contractor to provide all labor, trash bins, equipment, travel, and incidentals, as well as pay all associated costs, disposal fees, and taxes. The agency needs to manage waste that includes tire carcasses, metal, plastic, fiberglass, glass, asphalt, dirt, concrete, wood, landscape trimmings, and potential unintentional hazardous waste. The scope of work requires weekday trash pick-ups between 07:30 a.m. and 03:30 p.m., excluding designated State legal holidays. If a holiday falls on a scheduled pick-up date, the contractor must perform the removal on the following business day. The performance of all work will occur offsite over a contract period of one year. Eligible bidders must operate onshore within the United States.
