Trash and Recycling Container Service

The Omaha Public Library in Omaha, Nebraska requires trash and recycling container services for twelve of its current facilities. The selected vendor must deliver rubbish and co-mingled recycling containers to each public library location and position them to keep all doors, alleys, parking spaces, drive lanes, and access areas clear. For select locations where containers sit behind fencing, the service provider must supply a padlock and chain. The scope of work requires emptying or replacing the rubbish and co-mingled recycling containers according to a schedule proposed by the vendor and approved by the library facilities representative. After each servicing, the provider must return the containers to an upright, level position within their designated spots without blocking any access areas. The provider must also clean the area around the containers and dispose of any loose trash blown about during the pickup before the vehicle departs the site. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency requires all performance of the work to take place onsite at the designated library facilities. Bidders may submit their proposals digitally via email or through the online portal, and the agency is currently seeking proposals to determine the budget.
