Refuse Collection Services

The Maui County government authority is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive refuse collection and recycling services for its campus. The agency requires the safe collection, transportation, and disposal of non-hazardous solid waste and recyclable materials. To accommodate changing needs, the agency retains the right to adjust the number of containers, container sizes, and the pickup schedule throughout the contract term. The scope of work covers the provision of all collection vehicles, materials, labor, collection containers, and trailers. The selected provider must perform ongoing maintenance, repair, pressure washing, and deodorizing of all supplied equipment. Additionally, the agency requires monthly billing alongside detailed reporting on the tonnage of solid waste and recycled materials removed from the campus. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. All contracted services must be performed onsite at the agency facility in Maui, Hawaii. The agency has not disclosed a set budget and is currently seeking cost proposals from qualified bidders to evaluate the financial scope of the project.
