Single Stream Recycling Services

The Charlotte County Public Schools district in Port Charlotte, Florida, is seeking a vendor to establish a district-wide, single-stream recycling program. The agency aims to solve the problem of excessive waste by diverting recyclable materials from landfills and promoting sustainability across all administrative, educational, and athletic facilities. The contract period for these services will span two years. The scope of work requires the contractor to collect, transport, and process specific single-stream materials from the district facilities. These materials include paper products, corrugated cardboard, boxboard, plastics, glass, posterboard, construction paper, metals, aluminum beverage containers, and other aluminum products. All operations and performance of the work must take place onsite at the agency locations. Eligible bidders must be onshore United States organizations.
