Solid Waste and Recycling Collection Service

The Borough of Seaside Park, New Jersey is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive solid waste and recycling collection services. The municipality requires the removal of all garbage, trash, and other refuse from the curb or edge of the street, utilizing receptacles provided by property occupants. The collected solid waste must not contain recyclable materials, hazardous waste, or solid animal and vegetable wastes collected by licensed swine producers. The scope of work covers the collection of solid waste from forty-five-gallon containers that weigh fifty pounds or less when filled. The selected vendor must also provide a separate recycling collection service in accordance with a solid waste management plan that requires source separation for recycling purposes. The contract period for these services will be for a duration of one year, and the performance of the work may occur onsite or offsite. Eligibility is strictly limited to onshore organizations based in the United States of America. The agency is currently looking for proposals and has not disclosed a specific budget. Interested bidders must attend a pre-proposal conference scheduled for July 21, 2026.
