Remove and Dispose Multiple Abandoned Boats Service

The South Carolina Department of Natural Resources is seeking a contractor to remove and dispose of multiple abandoned boats in West Columbia, South Carolina. The agency requires the complete removal of all vessel pieces and parts to ensure safe transport to a drydock, resolving the hazard posed by these abandoned watercraft. The selected contractor must provide a tug, cranes, or both, capable of extracting the vessels in whole or in pieces. The scope of work requires the contractor to dispose of all vessels in a prescribed manner that complies with all applicable laws and regulations. Because the work occurs offsite, the agency requires the contractor to hold a General Marine Liability Insurance Policy of no less than one million dollars. Eligible bidders must be onshore entities located within the United States. The agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget for this project.
