Remove, Destroy and Dispose Service

The government authority located in West Columbia, South Carolina is seeking a contractor to provide vessel removal, destruction, and disposal services. The authority needs to solve the problem of clearing out specific vessels safely and legally from its waters. The scope of work requires the contractor to provide a tug, cranes, or both capable of removing all vessels in whole or in pieces. The contractor must completely remove all pieces and parts of the vessels to ensure safe transport to a drydock. Additionally, the contractor must dispose of all vessels in a prescribed manner that meets all applicable laws and regulations. The performance of this work will take place offsite over a contract period of one year. Eligibility is restricted to onshore bidders located within the United States only. Bidders must hold a General Marine Liability Insurance Policy of no less than one million dollars. The authority is looking for proposals to determine the budget for this project. All questions regarding this opportunity must be submitted no later than June 25, 2026.
