Remove, Destroy and Dispose Service

The issuing government authority in West Columbia, South Carolina is seeking a contractor to provide vessel removal, destruction, and disposal services. The agency needs to solve the problem of clearing specified vessels from their current locations while ensuring safe transport and lawful disposal. The scope of work requires the contractor to provide a tug, cranes, or both, capable of removing all vessels in whole or in pieces. The contractor must completely remove all pieces and parts of the vessels to guarantee safe transport to drydock. The agency requires the contractor to dispose of all vessels in a prescribed manner that complies with all applicable laws and regulations. Performance of this work will take place offsite. Eligibility is restricted to onshore bidders located within the United States. Bidders must hold a General Marine Liability Insurance Policy of no less than one million dollars. The agency is looking for proposals to determine the budget for this project. The contract period will run for one year.
