Solid Waste and Recycling Pick-Up Services

The Minnesota government authority is seeking a vendor to provide onsite curbside solid waste and recycling pick-up services. The authority requires the collection of five broad recycling material types, which include paper, cardboard, metal, glass, and plastic. This initiative addresses the authority's need for comprehensive waste management, recycling, and bulk waste removal services. The scope of work covers the collection and disposal of various bulk waste items and organic materials. Large and small appliances must be scrapped and recycled, with the State removing all refrigerants prior to disposal. Bed mattresses and furniture will be collected and disposed of via landfilling, while pallets will be landfilled or recycled depending on facility availability. The project also requires the pickup and recycling of organic waste material for composting. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The authority is looking for proposals to establish a contract period of one year. Bidders can submit their responses digitally via email or online, and all questions must be submitted no later than June 17, 2026.
