Recycling Services

The City of Richland, Washington is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive recycling services for various municipal collection sites and City-owned facilities. The agency needs a partner to collect, process, and market recyclable materials, with the capability to handle thirty-yard roll-off containers or curbside bins. Additionally, the selected provider must operate a facility equipped to receive, process, and market these received materials. To ensure accountability, the agency requires detailed third-party documentation providing reasonable assurance that all collected materials are properly diverted and recycled. The provider must also supply third-party documentation to validate the market rates charged to the City for the secondary processing of materials. The agency is looking for proposals to establish the budget for this offsite work. Eligibility is strictly limited to onshore organizations based in the United States.
