Inmate Food Service

The government authority located in Arizona is seeking a vendor to manage and operate its inmate food services. The agency requires a complete food service operation that includes supply ordering, inventory management, menu development, meal preparation, and kitchen equipment maintenance and procurement. The selected provider will also handle food service-related grievances as assigned by the agency. The scope of work requires the delivery of nutritious and vitamin-rich meals to all adult inmates and detainees three times per day, seven days per week, 365 days per year, or 366 days during leap years. Additionally, the agency requires nutritious employee meals seven days per week, 365 days per year, or 366 days during leap years. These employee meals must include hot, direct off-line options, a fresh salad bar, and quick-service restaurant style options for the day shift, alongside pre-prepared meals for the night shift. Only onshore organizations based in the United States are eligible to bid on this opportunity. The performance of all contracted work must take place onsite at the agency facility. The agency is looking for proposals to determine the budget and will award a contract for a period of one year. Bidders must attend a mandatory pre-bid meeting scheduled for July 6, 2026.
