Collection Agency Services

The agency is seeking collection agency services for a government authority located in Washington state. The contractor will provide collection services and remit collected funds and payments daily for parking accounts and weekly for other account types including Civicgov, Alarms, Airport, Code Enforcement, Stays, Utilities, and Misc. The scope of work includes verification of debtor identity, delinquent debt collection, and performing legal actions to recover moneys owed. These legal actions may include small claims court, garnishments, judgment transcription, and civil penalty recording. The contractor will also provide training on their systems, including interpretation of system notes, codes, and processes. Reporting requirements are extensive and include legal reporting detailing actions such as notices of entry of judgment, lien entry, and writs of garnishments, along with debt calculations. The contractor will also provide account status reports, payment reports, returned/cancelled account reports, and reconciliation of account activity, along with other reports as indicated by the agency. Eligibility requires the organization to be onshore, meaning it must be a USA organization only. The performance of the work will be conducted offsite. The contract period will be for one year. All questions must be submitted no later than August 5, 2026. The agency is looking for proposals, and responses can be submitted digitally via email or online.
