Crisis Residential Placement Services

The Department of Health and Welfare seeks proposals for crisis residential placement services for individuals with developmental disabilities. These services are needed for the Department's Developmental Disability Crisis Prevention and Court Services Team, primarily serving individuals originating in Districts 5-7, with occasional placements from other areas of the state. The services will be provided in the Department's Districts 6 or 7. The project covers crisis residential placement services, including disease prevention and maintenance of sanitary conditions within the home. The selected vendor must maintain compliance with the Department's philosophy of least restrictive intervention. The vendor is responsible for reporting any critical incidents or incidents with a reasonable potential to negatively affect participant safety to the Department immediately. Performance of the work will be offsite, requiring the vendor to carry out work on their office premises. Eligibility is restricted to onshore organizations within the USA. A pre-proposal conference will be held on July 27, 2026, by Microsoft Teams only. Registration for this conference is required by Friday, July 24, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. Mountain Time. All questions must be submitted no later than Thursday, July 30, 2026, at 11:59:59 p.m. Mountain Time. The RFP closing date is Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. Mountain Time. The budget signal is that the agency is looking for proposals. The initial contract term is anticipated to be one year, from November 2, 2026, to November 1, 2027, with a potential for extensions up to a total contract term of five years.
