Part-time Hygienist Contractual Services

The Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians is seeking contractual services from a part-time dental hygienist. The agency requires a hygienist to provide dental services for patients of all age groups at the Medicine Lodge Dental Clinic in Peshawbestown, MI. The project aims to supplement existing dental services for tribal members and their dependents within the designated service area. The scope of work includes providing dental hygiene services for patients of all ages, up to three days per week, specifically Monday through Wednesday. The contract compensates the hygienist for patient cancellations and days the GTB is closed, excluding holidays. Performance of the work will be onsite at the clinic. Eligibility requires the provider to be a Licensed Hygienist in Michigan, holding a current CPR license. Liability insurance is mandatory. Bidders must be an Onshore (USA Organization Only). Proposals will be evaluated by GTB healthcare staff based on qualifications, past experiences, and cost. An interview may follow for clarification. Native American/Alaskan Indian preference applies, and bidders must submit proof of Native American Indian status. The contractor must also pass a background check.
