Active Transportation Equity Service

The City of Los Angeles requires a contractor to deliver the Broadway-Manchester Active Transportation Equity Project along 2.8 miles of Manchester Avenue and South Broadway. The buyer expects the contractor to perform onsite work that includes protected bike lanes, improved medians, pedestrian refuge islands, curb extensions, sidewalk improvements, upgraded access ramps, pedestrian signals, improved bus stops, shade trees, landscapes, and irrigation. To qualify, the contractor must be an onshore USA organization and possess a valid State of California Contractor's License Classification of "A" at the time of bid. The buyer requires a Bid Bond, alongside a Payment Bond and a Performance Bond that each equal at least 100 percent of the contract price. All bidders must abide by the Escrow Bid Documents requirements in the General Requirements section. The buyer seeks proposals to establish the budget and issues bid documents through the City of Los Angeles Regional Alliance Marketplace for Procurement.
