Pension Actuarial Consulting Services

The government authority in Oklahoma requires a vendor to provide pension actuarial consulting services for a one-year contract period. The buyer needs the vendor to perform actuarial investigations upon request from a legislative committee regarding retirement legislation. For each requested investigation, the scope requires the vendor to determine the dollar amount of the unfunded actuarial accrued liability, calculate the dollar amount of the annual normal cost, and provide a statement of the employer contribution rate currently in effect for the affected retirement system.
