Third-Party Claims Administrative and Adjustment Services

Metropolitan requires a consultant to deliver third-party claims administrative and adjustment services for a one-year contract period. The selected vendor must handle claims files, estimate financial reserves for potential or actual claims, lawsuits, incidents, and subrogation claims, and conduct an annual review of open cases and reserves by April. Deliverables include electronic monthly claims loss run reports detailing incident numbers, file statuses, summaries, and outstanding reserves, alongside closing reports, updates, statistical summaries, and specialized reports for actuarial and audit needs. Work performance takes place offsite, and eligibility restricts the opportunity to onshore USA vendors only. Metropolitan seeks proposals for the budget and mandates that bidders submit all questions no later than September 15, 2026.
