Municipal Court Security Service

The City of Lee’s Summit, MO, requires a USA-based vendor to provide competent, trained security personnel for municipal court security services. The contractor must supply personnel to screen all individuals entering the courtroom using city-provided x-ray and metal detector equipment, and patrol the building internally as required. Personnel must not disturb desk papers, open drawers or cabinets, or use city-only telephones and equipment. The vendor assumes responsibility for repairing or replacing equipment damaged through a security guard’s negligence. The buyer limits security guards from working a full 8-hour shift immediately after a preceding shift at any location. Authorized managers may require overtime beyond an 8-hour shift, paid at time and a half, up to a four-hour maximum. Performance of work will occur offsite.
