The buyer requires an inmate telephone system that provides security, control, and efficiency for county jail and correctional facilities. The vendor must supply a state-of-the-art electronic telecommunications and data processing system featuring stored program control, automated call processing, independent verification, automatic verification, and centralized administration. The system must interface with long distance and other communication systems, regardless of operational procedures, and integrate fully within present facilities to provide call processing for the II environment. Only onshore USA organizations are eligible for this opportunity, and the vendor will perform the work offsite. The buyer seeks proposals for a five-year contract period.
