Records Emergency Response and Recovery Services

The buyer requires a contractor to provide records emergency response and recovery services on an as-needed basis for records, folders, containers, equipment, and facilities. The contractor must deliver practical, efficient, and safe options to retrieve and rehabilitate records while minimizing damage, maintain systematic removal procedures, keep records in their original found order, and retain original accompanying documentation, labels, and identifying details. Specific tasks encompass facility stabilization, re-housing, transporting, packed retrieval of water-damaged paper, recovery of bound volumes, oversized items, photographs, film, magnetic media, electronic records, and playback equipment, along with freezing, vacuum freeze-drying, air-drying, sanitization, cleaning, and reformatting. Only USA organizations operating onshore are eligible to participate. Work performance will occur offsite. The buyer seeks proposals for a one-year contract period, and vendors must submit all questions no later than September 29, 2026. Vendors can submit responses digitally via email or online.
