Home Delivered Meals Services

The government authority located in Albany, NY needs a vendor to provide home delivered meals services for its agency home delivered meal program. The vendor must prepare and provide nutritious, flavorful, and culturally appropriate meals for older adults. The meals must meet a minimum of one-third of the required daily DRI/RDA for one meal and two-thirds for two meals. Each meal must include three to four ounces of edible protein or eight-ounce casseroles with three ounces of protein, three servings of vegetables and/or fruit, two ounces of whole grain product, one to two teaspoons of oil, fortified margarine, or butter, eight ounces of fat free or low fat dairy or fortified juice, and one-half cup of dessert. Only US organizations may bid on this contract. The selected vendor must perform the work onsite over a one-year contract period. The buyer is looking for proposals regarding the budget. Vendors must submit all questions no later than October 5, 2026.
