Towing Services

The City of Akron, OH needs a qualified vendor to provide towing, roadside assistance, and related services for City-owned vehicles. The scope includes towing light-, medium-, and heavy-duty vehicles, sanitation trucks, emergency vehicles, and specialty equipment, alongside providing crane service, jump starts, tire changes, winching, vehicle preparation, and out-of-town towing. Only onshore vendors located in the USA are eligible to bid, and the awarded vendor must perform the work onsite. Vendors must submit all questions no later than October 7, 2026. The buyer requires vendors to submit proposals regarding the budget for this procurement opportunity. The resulting contract term will last for one year.
