The government authority in Washington, DC, requires a vendor to provide health program services under the Helping to End Addiction Long-term (HEAL) Initiative. The buyer seeks support for a phased mechanistic clinical research program that focuses on understudied biological mechanisms driving joint pain, multi-tissue pathology, and abnormal biomechanics or load distribution. Successful bidders will conduct well-powered, hypothesis-driven mechanistic clinical studies in healthy and clinical pain populations to generate preliminary data for future clinical trials. Additionally, the scope includes supporting mechanistic clinical trials that test the effects of non-pharmacologic or multimodal interventions, such as manual therapies, force-based manipulations, and peripherally-targeted therapies. Only onshore United States organizations are eligible to submit bids for this opportunity. Vendors will perform all required work offsite.
