The City of Huntington is inviting entities to submit proposals to purchase the Old Westmoreland Fire Station #8 and associated property located at 508 Camden Road in Wayne County, Huntington, West Virginia. The city is selling this unused fire station in as-is condition. Interested bidders can schedule an appointment to view the property by contacting Deputy Fire Chief Adam Woodward by phone or email. Proposals must include the purchasing entity's name that will hold the title, a purchase price, the intended use for the property, and the number of jobs created, if applicable. Bidders can submit responses digitally via BidExpress.com or deliver a physical copy to the City Clerk’s Office in Room 135 at 800 5th Avenue, Huntington, West Virginia, 25701. Submissions must arrive by 10:00 AM local time on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at which point the city will open the proposals in the City Clerk’s Office. Only onshore USA organizations are eligible to bid.
