The Jackson County Board of Commissioners in Jefferson, Georgia needs a qualified transportation provider to furnish daily transportation services for participants in the Jackson County Corrections Work Release Program. The scope includes daily round-trip transportation to approved employment locations, coordination of schedules with corrections personnel, and transport to scheduled appointments such as medical visits, court appearances, and counseling. Only US-based, onshore organizations are eligible to bid. Bids must include company background, a clear pricing structure, insurance documentation, driver compliance procedures, payment processes, a completed vendor master form, a current W-9, and three professional references. The contract term is for one year, with performance occurring onsite. Bidders must provide minimum insurance coverages, including $1,000,000 in automobile liability insurance naming the county as an additional insured. The buyer accepts proposals for the budget and reserves the right to reject submittals or award the contract based on Jackson County's highest and best interest.
