Towing and Wrecker Services

The Town of Hilton Head Island seeks proposals from qualified towing and wrecker services companies to establish an on-call contract and rotation list. The selected vendors must provide prompt, reliable towing, recovery, and roadside services to support daily operational needs, public safety functions, and Town-owned or controlled vehicles and equipment. Work performance takes place onsite in South Carolina. USA organizations are eligible to bid. Bidders must maintain specified insurance coverage, including garage keeper's liability insurance of at least $50,000 and comprehensive liability insurance. Certified local vendors qualify for an evaluation price reduction. Proposals must be submitted digitally through the Town's procurement portal by 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time on October 27, 2026. Bidders must submit questions via the portal by 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time on October 20, 2026. Evaluations use a 100-point scale based on criteria including costs and fees, equipment and service capabilities, and reference quality. Bids must remain open for at least 60 days following the submittal deadline.
