Professional City Prosecutor Services

The City of Hackensack seeks a licensed New Jersey attorney to serve as the municipal court prosecutor. The scope of work includes conducting direct and cross-examinations, handling discovery and motions, prosecuting Title 39 and municipal ordinance violations, attending court hearings and trials, and preparing necessary prosecution documents. To be eligible, respondents must be a USA organization and an attorney licensed by the State of New Jersey with expertise in municipal court prosecution. Bidders must submit one original and two copies of their qualification statement to the City Clerk's Office via mail or hand delivery by 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, October 07, 2026. The city will not accept proposals submitted via email or facsimile.
