Appraisal Service

The Town of North Providence seeks sealed proposals for on-call real property appraisal and consulting services. Required scope includes tax assessment appeal support, litigation and expert testimony, municipal acquisitions and dispositions, eminent domain valuations, and specialized valuation consulting. Work must strictly comply with Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice, with task orders completed within thirty calendar days. Eligible USA onshore firms must have at least five years of active commercial and municipal valuation experience. Assigned principal appraisers must hold an active Rhode Island Certified General Real Estate Appraiser license, and lead appraisers must possess five years of municipal valuation experience. Contractors must also maintain acceptable general liability and workers' compensation insurance. Applicants must submit sealed bids on the provided proposal form to the Office of the Purchasing Agent by 10:45 A.M. on October 22, 2026. Proposals must contain a transmittal letter, staffing details, resumes, license numbers, and a completed rate schedule detailing various hourly staff and testimony fees. The Purchasing Board reserves the right to accept the bid deemed the lowest evaluated and most favorable to the Town.
