The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG), on behalf of the U.S. Army Redstone Test Center (RTC), a subordinate activity of the U.S. Army Test and Evaluation Command (ATEC), is issuing this Sources Sought / Request for Information notice as a means of conducting market research to identify potential sources that can provide the charter (lease) of shipping vessels to furnish transportation services for the Modular Open System Architecture Instrumentation Containers (MOSAIC) program during Broad Ocean Area (BOA) test missions. MOSAIC is a critical telemetry data collection and flight safety asset for the hypersonic and long-range missile defense test mission. There is a current and ever-growing capacity shortfall for transportable telemetry / flight safety system (TM/FSS) instrumentation. For MOSAIC to support flight safety missions, the system must be flight-safety certified. For full RFI contents and requirements please see the attachments.
