Fiber Network Construction and Implementation Service

The government authority in Oakland, CA needs a vendor to provide fiber network construction and implementation services to expand reliable broadband connectivity. The requested scope includes implementing Middle-Mile and Last-Mile fiber networks for city-owned Community Anchor Institutions and affordable Multi-Dwelling Unit sites, installing new microducts via microtrenching or open trenching, configuring City-furnished fiber switches, performing fiber splicing and termination, and conducting end-to-end testing of installed cables. Performance of the work will occur offsite. Only USA onshore organizations are eligible to bid.
