Workers Compensation Defense Counsel Services

The City of Passaic Self-Insurance Fund Commission requires a vendor to provide workers' compensation defense counsel services on an as-needed basis. The selected counsel will defend workers' compensation claims filed against the city, maintain a close working relationship with the city attorney, provide representation across all litigation aspects, and attend meetings as requested. Eligible applicants are onshore, USA-only organizations that are registered with the State of New Jersey Division of Revenue for a Business Registration Certificate at the time of contract award. Bidders must submit sealed proposals by October 28, 2026, at 10:45 AM prevailing time to Doris Dudek, Director of Purchasing. Digital submissions via email or online are also accepted. All written requests for interpretation must be received at least seven days prior to the proposal deadline. The Evaluation Committee will select the winning proposal using a public scoring sheet, evaluating proposals based on the specifications. The contract term runs from January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2027, and the buyer is requesting budget proposals from bidders.
