General Education Development (GED) Exam Preparation Service

The Texas Department of Transportation seeks a vendor to provide online General Education Development exam preparation services to prepare employees to pass all four subject exams and satisfy high school equivalency requirements. Scope of work includes delivering current curriculum in English and Spanish, instructing on permitted reference tools, providing test-taking strategies, managing large-scale assessments and test staff, safeguarding exam materials, maintaining data security, offering operational support, and coordinating registration through the official testing service. Eligible bidders are onshore USA organizations with the necessary organization, facilities, licenses, certifications, and trained personnel required to perform the services. Responses must be submitted electronically or by email before November 5, 2026, at 3:00 PM Central Time, while the question submission deadline is October 22, 2026. Proposals must include signed solicitation documents, an Employer Identification Number, vendor and personnel qualifications, experience, references, and an Excel pricing schedule. TxDOT will evaluate proposals and make an award based on the lowest price and the respondent's ability to meet all solicitation requirements to provide the best value to the state. The contract term is for one year, with a tentative award date of December 1, 2026. Budget figures are based on submitted unit pricing.
