Residential Smoke Alarms Service

The City of Syracuse Fire Department seeks a vendor to furnish battery-operated, single-station residential smoke alarms. The scope requires 2,000 UL 217 8th edition listed alarms featuring 10-year lithium batteries, tamperproof sealed units, 85dB horns, red LED lights, and 7–14 days delivery ARO. Bidders must be skilled, regularly engaged in this class of work, and located onshore in the USA. Bidders must submit sealed proposals using the provided form and envelope to the Purchasing Director in Syracuse, NY, by 2:00 PM local time on November 4, 2026. Written questions are due by October 22, 2026, or no later than 7 calendar days prior to bid opening. The Division of Purchase and the receiving department will evaluate bids and award the contract in whole or in part to the lowest responsible bidder. The blanket contract term runs from November 5, 2026, through November 5, 2027, with options for two one-year renewals.
